This eBook is designed to help researchers investigating immune-related questions involving peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). PBMCs include T cells, B cells, NK cells and monocytes, and additional cell types, such as dendritic cells. We provide an overview of each human PBMC subset and its specific role in immunology. Understanding the biology, function and activation processes of these cells is essential for translational research and experimental analysis.
